A PROCESSION IN P’ISAQ
During the 1970s I resided a few years in the Sacred Valley of Peru, first in P’isaq, then in the old mill of Urpihuaylla, across the Vilcanota River, or the Urubamba, as it is also known. A recent unexpected call from an old, dear friend from those days brought this series to the surface, a roll of film long forgotten, of a simple village procession never to be seen again, in a P’isaq that no longer exists.
